Bosnia, the place where fire and water meet
Beautiful family,
I’m writing you to open the space and set the frequency for the Bosnian journey (Bosnia retreat – October 2024).
I trust this message will bring you answers to a deep desire. ‘You are being called to a new, awakened life. That which you no longer need will be discerned and purged.’ – is the message of a card I pulled for the Bosnian journey – from the Izzy Ivy oracle cards (Unveiling the Golden Age). The name of the card is: Collective Awakening.
I’m sharing this message, because this is the reason why I’m called to connect Marieke and Tim with this beautiful journey I made through Bosnia. Please feel welcome and tune in with me.
My Motherland
Pause for a second, breathe deep and relax. I would love to bring you for a moment to the heart of Europe, Bosnia. My home, my motherland – the womb of Europe.
Bosnia is known for her fire initiations. Did you know that every generation for couple of hundreds of years have experienced war in this region? She is called the land of the Dragon, the totem animal of Balkan ancestors.
- Did you know, that the name Bosna derives from Illyrian ‘Bass-an-as’’, which is meaning ‘the running water’? It is said, wherever you find yourself in this country, you can always hear the sound of running water near you.
- Did you know, Bosnia is also called: the heart-shaped land, because it has the shape of a heart?!
- Did you know, Bosnia is also called the lungs of Europe because it has the last and biggest rainforest in Europe (Perućica Rainforest).
I can share much more amazing, beautiful and mind-blowing facts or mystic stories about Bosnia. But let me share first more about the journey we will have this year together.

Bosnia, the place where water and fire meet
Water and fire symbolize life, fertility, creativity and inspiration in cultures around the world. At the same time, water and fire also represent loss, death, and destruction.
Mixing Fire and water is one of the absolute principles of Alchemy and is actually more fundamental than the old medieval goal of turning base metals into gold. We are talking about joining two opposites, about creating oneness again from a duality.
Every country in the world is representing a part of the collective consciousness. Bosnia is an important key for the Aquarius age.
Bosnia is a land where mysticism is practiced, where pyramids are alive, the land with the biggest biodiversity in Europe, it is fertile, multi-layered and multidimensional. A place where you can bring balance in your body, mind and spirit. This journey is guiding your towards yourself, true the most beautiful villages, rivers, pyramids and dragons. Together with your guides and our Bosnian friends Goga & Elmir who are the kindest and most loving hosts of your stay (a big part). In this journey we will connect with all elements of this land, and with the safe space Marieke and Tim are bringing in – by offering their gifts, their unique connection with this land we will be offered to go deep and practice Kundalini Yoga.
You can be sure to surrender in the womb of Bosnia – and to bring back a new diamond that will be awakened in you. It is time to recall that we are powerful, embodied and luminescent being (crystal-light body).
If we join Fire with Water we create this double triangle, or diamond form, known in alchemy as the Cosmic Egg, the creation point of our universe in the womb of the worlds, at the beginning of time and space. Your new beginning, the world’s new beginning.. is starting here in the heart shaped land Bosna.
