Teachings of the White Lion

This morning as I woke, I saw a clear image of a White Lion emerging from a mandalic shape, inspired by the incredible holographic art of visionary Emma Kunz, whose museum we visited yesterday here in Switzerland.
We're slowly making our way toward the Healing Festival in the Czech Republic, but this vision arrived like a message, both intimate and collective.
The White Lion looked me straight in the eyes: powerful eyes, yet filled with immense softness and compassion. It emanated an abundance of love that I could feel pulsing through the collective field.
Later, I looked into the symbolism of the White Lion, and found that its teachings are deeply aligned with the energy of this moment on our planet; and with the annual Lions Gate portal. That’s why we feel called to share these teachings with you now, to inspire your own connection and to invite you to join us for our free Lions Gate meditation.
Teachings of the White Lion
The White Lion has long been honored in the sacred oral traditions of Southern Africa as a guardian presence — a celestial being who appears on Earth during times of transition to help restore balance and awaken remembrance in the hearts of those ready to receive.
Among the elders and wisdom keepers, the White Lion is known to be connected to Sirius, the same star that rises just before dawn in the first weeks of August, as the Sun moves through Leo. This cosmic alignment has been acknowledged across many ancient cultures as a threshold of amplified energy, when divine intelligence becomes more accessible to those attuned to what moves beneath the surface.
In yogic teachings, we understand this through the lens of Prana — the life force that pulses through every living being, the breath behind the breath, the current that animates, clarifies, and nourishes. This time of year brings a natural increase in available Prana. It can be felt in the stillness of early mornings, in the brightness of the sun, and in the spaciousness that allows something deeper to land.
A Living Transmission
When the White Lion appeared to me this morning, there was no instruction, no expectation — just a profound tenderness, a field of wisdom that filled the space around it. Compassion moved through the stillness. Clarity emerged not as a thought, but as a feeling, a coherence in the air.
This is how the White Lion teaches — through presence, not explanation. Through a kind of embodied coherence that invites us to listen with the whole body, not just the mind.
- There is strength in its stillness. It allows what is unnecessary to fall away.
- There is leadership in its gaze. A quiet stability that comes from being fully aligned with what is.
The White Lion does not lead from above, nor does it follow behind. It walks alongside with a rhythm that is steady, humble, and deeply felt. It reminds us that the power we seek is not outside us. What we are meant to bring into the world cannot arise through effort alone, but through attunement to what is already moving through us.
The Lions Gate and the Rising of Sirius
During the Lions Gate portal on August 8th — when the Earth, Sun, and Sirius form a sacred alignment — we enter a field that carries the same essence the White Lion embodies:
∞ A heightened flow of Prana
∞ An expanded field of perception
∞ A return to clarity and inner coherence
These qualities live in the nervous system. In the breath. In the way the body begins to open when it no longer has to defend or strive. They reveal themselves when the inner space is clear enough to receive.
The White Lion carries a frequency that reorganizes the space simply by being there. Its rhythm is steady. Its gaze is clear. Its presence speaks to the part of us that already knows how to return to wholeness.
When presence is real, clarity doesn’t need to be searched for. Compassion is already there. Energy flows without force. Truth is felt without needing to be explained.
Join us for an annual event
To support this process, we’ll be sharing a free meditation — a moving mudra practice designed to increase the flow of Prana and help the system remain open to the energy that is naturally available during this time.
This meditation is rooted in the Kundalini Yoga tradition, and supports the subtle body in becoming more receptive to the living transmission of the White Lion and the rising energy of Sirius.
🦁 ✨ The practice will be shared in our online community on August 8 (8/8).
