The power of 8 for Lionsgate
The 8th of August (8/8) marks the peak of the yearly Lionsgate Portal, the alignment between the Earth, the Sun and the star Sirius.
Let’s dive into the meaning of the number 8 and discover all the Shakti (power) it contains and represents.
∞ The Air Element and Prana
In Sacred Geometry the Octahedron, which is a two 4 sided pyramids placed top each other giving it 𝟴 sides in total. This shape represents the air element. Air is the carrier of Prana, the vital Life Force energy. There is an infinite amount of Prana and our breath is our vital connection to the Infinite expressed through Prana.
∞ The infinity symbol
The infinity symbol is an 𝟴 on it's side ∞ and as such the number 8, which we just saw is connected to Prana (life force energy) is involved in the continuous recycle of energy, since energy can never get destroyed nor created. Energy is infinite.
∞ Goddess Power
Kundalini energy is also called the Goddess power and when you look at the Yantras, geometrical depictions, of the Tantric Goddesses you find that they all have 𝟴 lotus petals placed on them.
∞ Prakriti
The 𝟴 lotus petals represent Prakriti, the cause of the manifesting universe. Prakriti is Mother Nature, a feminine, creative energy, the origin of all manifestations as name, form, quality, energy and action. The 𝟴 lotus petals refer to the 𝟴 principles (tattvas) of Prakriti, the eight elements of nature: earth, water, fire, air, ether, the lower mind, the higher mind, and the ego.⠀
∞ Awakening
An 𝟴 stroke breath or an 𝟴 beat mantra can function like a key to tap into the cosmic pulse of 𝟴 connected to Kundalini Shakti and in combination with our effort and devotion this rhythm can support the awakening of our True potential.
∞ Balance
Spiritually the number 𝟴 is seen as an equalizer or balancer which is reflected in its shape, it’s the balance point between the spiritual and the material. Balance is also of key importance when working with Kundalini energy, the elements and our minds need to be balanced in order to access this divine feminine energy.
∞ The Lion’s Heart
The eighth month of the year, August, is the month of Leo and resonates with themes such as inner-strength, courage and compassion. It also relates to social status, and the ego. A strong ego needs a big open heart to balance those energies and let that authority be in service of humanity and the greater good.
