the Program

In this program we explore the third and the fourth limbs of the Eightfold Path of Yoga, Asana & Pranayam. This exploration will be both based in yoga & meditation practice and self-reflection. Besides the 3 guided Sadhanas (daily guidance emails) we offer an extra online Masterclass, a 2,5 hour online workshop that adds to your progress and transformation.

Asana & Pranayama

The third and the fourth ‘limbs’ or ‘jewels’ of the Eight Fold Path of Yoga are called Asana and Pranayama. These two jewels remind us of the sacredness of the human body and how the practice of Asana (yogic postures) can help us to tame and discipline the mind, which increases our capacity to concentrate and still the mind in meditation. Pranayama is learning to control the breath, fully recognising the direct connection between the breath, the mind and our emotional wellbeing.

Daily Practice 

Sadhana

Sadhana is your daily practice of yoga, meditation and self-reflection. During this program you will receive daily guidance emails. Our guidance helps you to integrate the effects of your practice and deepen your understanding of Asana & Pranayama through self-reflection & contemplation, thus cultivating the unfolding of your consciousness.

All together you will receive great tools that support you in living in a harmonious way as they clear the clogged subconscious mind and release tension and emotions from our body and mind.

ASANA ♦ 11 days

12 - 22 May  

In these 11 days you discover the energetic anatomy behind common asanas and you’ll learn and experience first hand how and why they work from different perspectives and traditions. We are going on a journey with different newly composed Kundalini Sequences tuning into the five elements, the corresponding chakras, meridians and vayus (pranic movement). This Sadhana is a combination of self experience through your daily practice and deepening your understanding through the daily guidance emails.

PRANAYAMA ♦ 11 days

11 - 21 June

Did you ever realise human beings are the only living creatures on this planet who can change their breath by will, not just as an instinctive reaction? Changing your breath is the highway to changing your awareness. In yogic tradition this conscious control of the breath is called Pranayama’. The breath is one of the most direct ways to affect and manage different states of consciousness, relaxation, and well-being. In these 11 days we are going to explore and experience the power of our own breath through our daily practice and the accompanying guidance through email. Discover how altering your breath with intention can change your life.

PHILOSOPHY ♦ 11 days

Throughout the centuries much has been written about yoga and meditation and in this Sadhana we will explore the different streams within the yoga tradition that have evolved over time. To understand what yoga truly is, it is wise to look back into the past and also place its development within the context of time and culture. Especially since yoga is now present all over the world we would love to honour its roots in ancient India and learn from the foundational teachings as to not lose touch with the original intended goal of a yoga practice: self-realisation.

At the end of each Sadhana there will be a few days for catching up and integration. You can continue your daily yoga practice by yourself until the start of the next Sadhana. After these Sadhanas you will have deeply explored the third and fourth limbs of the Eightfold Path through Asana, Pranayama and Yoga Philosophy

After practicing Hatha Yoga for 10 years I switched to Kundalini in 2011 and I am teaching on a daily basis ever since. My classes always are a deepening experience beyond the comfort zone, to discover new dimensions of ‘being’. Self ­observation is playing a key role throughout the practice towards self­ discovery. Teaching Kundalini Yoga is the love of my life and I am passionate about sharing this technology to inspire people on their spiritual journey. Out of this passion Tim and I founded the online Kundalini Yoga School in 2016.

As a Yoga-psychologist I integrate the teachings of Kundalini Yoga with Psychology. An early fascination for the mind made me choose to study Psychology at the University of Amsterdam. Now, I love sharing yogic knowledge via the online Kundalini Yoga School. Besides Kundalini Yoga classes and private consultations with individuals, I also lead journeys & retreats at inspiring locations worldwide. I am grateful guiding students to establish themselves in their hearts, towards a life filled with compassion and kindness.
