In this program we deeply explore the first two limbs of the Eightfold Path, the Yamas & Niyamas. This exploration will be both based in yoga & meditation practice and self-reflection. Besides the 4 guided Sadhanas (daily guidance emails) we offer an extra online Master Class, a 2,5 hour online workshop that adds to your progress and transformation.

We feel it is important in our world today that we incorporate these yogic teachings into our lives, not as the next thing to do or to achieve, but because they are essential in supporting us to live our lives.

The first two ‘limbs’ or ‘jewels’ of the Eight Fold Path as explained by Patanjali are called the Yamas and the Niyamas. Some people simply call them the do’s and don'ts of Yoga but they go deeper than that. A beautiful way of translating these two limbs is to say that the Yamas are a reflection of our True Nature and the Niyamas are guidelines supporting the evolution of our consciousness towards harmony. They actually teach us ways to think and act that will keep us sane, composed, compassionate and balanced.

Daily Practice 

Sadhana 

Sadhana is your daily practice of yoga, meditation and self-reflection. During this program you will receive daily guidance emails. Our guidance helps you to integrate the effects of your practice and deepen your understanding of the Yamas & Niyamas through self-reflection & contemplation, thus cultivating the unfolding of your consciousness.

All together you will receive great tools that support you in living in a harmonious way as they clear the clogged subconscious mind and release tension and emotions from our body and mind.

BREAKING HABITS - 22 DAYS

Ahimsa Asteya ♦ Brahmacharya ♦ Aparigraha

We kick off by breaking habits that are not supporting you any longer and you will receive daily guidance via email to support you with that. This first Sadhana is linked to the first limb of the Eightfold path and focusses on: Yama (integrity), specifically ahimsa (non violence), asteya (non stealing), brahmacharya (moderation) and aparigraha (non attachment).

SPEAK YOUR TRUTH - 22 DAYS

Satya

During our second Sadhana we focus on satya which is all about being truthful. We look into the power of words and become aware of how we create our lives through what we say. Words are like seeds you plant in the present moment that will eventually become your future. Is what you say truly what you want to put out there?

DETOX - 22 DAYS

♦ Saucha ♦ Santosha ♦ Tapas

After this we dive deeper into the second limb named Niyamas (positive actions) with a physical detox in which we explore saucha (cleanliness of body & mind), santosha (contentment) and tapas (self discipline). Help your body to rejuvenate, revitalise, gain health and strength with a thorough yet gentle and enjoyable Detox Program. Git rid of toxins and the negative side effects of stress with a physical, mental and emotional detox with healthy food & daily yoga.

KNOW THYSELF AND BE YOU - 11 DAYS

♦ Svadhyaya

We end this Yoga Lifestyle Program with a Sadhana that revolves around Svadhyaya (Study of the Self). With our daily yoga practice and email support we are going to help you express yourself in a true and authentic way. You will increase your sensitivity to speak your truth.

At the end of each Sadhana there will be a few days for catching up and integration. You can continue your daily yoga practice by yourself until the start of the next Sadhana. After these Sadhanas you will have deeply explored the first two limbs of the Eightfold Path of Yoga, the Yamas & Niyamas

In this way we meet each other in the virtual Sacred Space to stay inspired, motivated and committed to the program. After practicing Hatha Yoga for 10 years I switched to Kundalini in 2011 and I am teaching on a daily basis ever since. My classes always are a deepening experience beyond the comfort zone, to discover new dimensions of ‘being’. Self ­observation is playing a key role throughout the practice towards self­ discovery. Teaching Kundalini Yoga is the love of my life and I am passionate about sharing this technology to inspire people on their spiritual journey. Out of this passion Tim and I founded the online Kundalini Yoga School in 2016.

As a Yoga-psychologist I integrate the teachings of Kundalini Yoga with Psychology. An early fascination for the mind made me choose to study Psychology at the University of Amsterdam. Now, I love sharing yogic knowledge via the online Kundalini Yoga School. Besides Kundalini Yoga classes and private consultations with individuals, I also lead journeys & retreats at inspiring locations worldwide. I am grateful guiding students to establish themselves in their hearts, towards a life filled with compassion and kindness.
