For almost any device we use in our lives there are manuals that explain us how to make it work properly. Funnily enough we do not receive such a manual on how to best work with our own computer, our minds. Knowing and understanding how the mind works and operates can make it much easier to navigate through our lives without getting trapped in unnecessary complexities.

In this Yoga & Meditation program we create a clear roadmap of the workings of the mind based on the century old teachings of Ayurveda and Yoga Philosophy, a roadmap that will support you to not get lost but find yourself right in the center of it all.

3 MONTHS PROGRAM

Program

In this program we explore the fifth and the sixth limbs of the Eightfold Path of Yoga, Pratyahara & Dharana. We start with understanding more about the workings of the mind through the lens of Ayurveda and we draw our focus within, which is limb number five Pratyahara. As this is an important turning point on the path of yoga we also dedicated the second Sadhana of the pillar to Pratyahara (withdrawal of the senses). We end this part of the journey by increasing our capacity for one pointed concentration, the 6th limb named Dharana.

This exploration will be both based in yoga & meditation practice and self-reflection. Besides the 3 guided Sadhanas (daily guidance emails) we offer an extra online Masterclass, a 2,5 hour online workshop that adds to your progress and transformation.

Pratyahara & Dharana

The fifth and the sixth ‘limbs’ or ‘jewels’ of the Eight Fold Path of Yoga are called Pratyahara and Dharana.

Pratyahara, the fifth limb, is the turning point, from the first four outer limbs that focus on our behaviour and habits that form our character, we now move inwards into the more subtle realms of the mind. This limb is all about the turning our focus within through withdrawing our senses from the outside world that always keep us busy and strengthening our ability to consciously choose what we allow to enter into our awareness.

Dharana, the sixth limb, is the entry point of our journey into expanded self-awareness. Leaving behind social conditioning and outer identification we now truly go deep within to discover who we truly are. We learn how to still and focus the mind, creating single pointed awareness that can, like a laser beam, burn through all the layers of misperception and confusion.

Daily Practice 

Sadhana

Sadhana is your daily practice of yoga, meditation and self-reflection. During this program you will receive daily guidance emails. Our guidance helps you to integrate the effects of your practice and deepen your understanding of Asana & Pranayama through self-reflection & contemplation, thus cultivating the unfolding of your consciousness.

All together you will receive great tools that support you in living in a harmonious way as they clear the clogged subconscious mind and release tension and emotions from our body and mind.

MIND ♦ 11 days

In this 11 day Sadhana we look into a yogic framework of mind that will give us the foundation for our further exploration of the Eightfold Path of Yoga. Although our mind isn't visible for our eyes it has an incredible influence on our lives through our behaviour and actions. It determines our perception through unconscious workings and it is our aim  to make these unconscious patterns conscious. Only when we become conscious of the workings of mind, we are able to transform them and start using the mind as an instrument in service of our soul's calling.

PRATYAHARA ♦ 11 days

In these 11 days we are going to explore and experience how we can withdraw our senses through our daily practice and the accompanying guidance through email. 

DHARANA ♦ 11 days

Dharana, the sixth limb, is the entry point of our journey into expanded self-awareness. Leaving behind social conditioning and outer identification. During these 11 days we go deep within to discover who we truly are. Through our practice and our the daily emails we learn how to still and focus the mind, creating single pointed awareness that can, like a laser beam, burn through all the layers of misperception and confusion.

At the end of each Sadhana there will be a few days for catching up and integration. You can continue your daily yoga practice by yourself until the start of the next Sadhana. After these Sadhanas you will have deeply explored the Mind and the fifth and sixth limbs of the Eightfold Path through Pratyahara and Dharana.

After practicing Hatha Yoga for 10 years I switched to Kundalini in 2011 and I am teaching on a daily basis ever since. My classes always are a deepening experience beyond the comfort zone, to discover new dimensions of ‘being’. Self ­observation is playing a key role throughout the practice towards self­ discovery. Teaching Kundalini Yoga is the love of my life and I am passionate about sharing this technology to inspire people on their spiritual journey. Out of this passion Tim and I founded the online Kundalini Yoga School in 2016.
