22 day course with daily guidance via email


For 22 days we are deeply looking into the power of words and become aware of how we create our lives through what we say. Words are like seeds you plant in the present moment that will eventually become your future. Is what you say truly what you want to put out there? We offer you the chance to discover, reflect, understand and grow your awareness with daily guidance and Kundalini Yoga.


Everyday you will do the kriya 'for truthful living' for 30-45 minutes as your daily practice.

Your daily Kundalini Yoga practice with our guidance via email and the online Community will give you a steady structure to make a significant change in your life.

Dear Marieke and Tim. Thank you for the opportunity to participate in this 'Power of the Word' Sadhana. I am gaining lots of insight and struggling somewhat within myself. I'm not physically able to do the kriya everyday so have been attempting the meditations which I still find a challenge both physically and mentally. I noticed at the beginning of this Sadhana I became super agitated and my 'word' became quite aggressive until I started to focus inwardly more and not resist so much. I am loving your daily emails and suggestions/reflections as I feel this topic is definitely one I need to work on still. I have been practising 'listening' for quite a few years now, even so, to really listen to others and hear what they say takes a lot of perseverance because it's so easy to give ones own opinion or advice. As a child I was shown that someone always had to be right and the other wrong and so there was always a battle and sides to pick. It took me many years into adulthood to discover another way. Thank you for this wonderful practise. I'm very grateful to you both and to everyone in the community  sharing themselves and their experiences. -- Claire

First of all, I have deep appreciation for Marieke and Tim's dedication to their teaching and practice. This sadhana The Power of the Word, and the previous Inner Peace one, have given me such fabulous support as I begin my journey into kundalini yoga. It has in particular been a great recourse to sanity during challenging times - and a timely reminder that we have constant rescourse to sanity within ourselves whenever we choose it. I'm a writer so can produce many weasel words. However on this occasion what comes up for me as I reflect is that over the 22 day Power of the Word sadhana I have learned more and more to put me in me, and to remember my soul is the friend of my body. These have been the most powerful insights for me. The physical practice and daily 'qualification' have supported these beautifully.

I like the way you guys do the videos, because you restrict your spoken guidance to before the exercise, so that I can go deeper during the kriya. After practicing Hatha Yoga for 10 years I switched to Kundalini in 2011 and I am teaching on a daily basis ever since. My classes always are a deepening experience beyond the comfort zone, to discover new dimensions of ‘being’. Self ­observation is playing a key role throughout the practice towards self­ discovery. Teaching Kundalini Yoga is the love of my life and I am passionate about sharing this sacred technology to inspire people on their spiritual journey. Out of this passion Tim and I founded the online Kundalini Yoga School in 2016.




As a Yoga-psychologist I integrate the teachings of Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan with Psychology. An early fascination for the mind made me choose to study Psychology at the University of Amsterdam. Now, my entrepreneural spirit loves sharing the yogic-teachings via the Online Kundalini Yoga School. Besides Kundalini Yoga classes and private consultations with individuals, I also lead journeys & retreats at inspiring locations worldwide. What is a Sadhana?

Sadhana means a daily spiritual practice, which can be a meditation, mantra, prayer, (kundalini) yoga practice. The sadhanas we share are all based on Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan.

Is this guided Sadhana going to be a live-stream?

In this Sadhana we work with 1 pre-recorded meditation-video on the Practice Page. It is not a live-stream. This will allow you to play the meditation-video at a time that suits you best.

Will I receive a different video every day?

No, we will practice the same meditation with 1 pre-recorded meditation-video on the Practice Page. This will allow you to play the meditation-video at a time that suits you best.

At what time will I receive the daily guidance email?

We send out the emails every morning at 5 AM (your timezone). This will allow you to read it before you start your practice.

How much time do I need to carve out for this practice?

For this Kundalini Yoga Meditation 'the Power of the Word' you will need less then 45 minutes each day; including a relaxation afterwards. The assignments and reflections via email will take about 15 minutes each day.

Do I need to do this Sadhana at 5 a.m. in the morning?

You don't have to get up at 5 a.m. in the morning. You can do your practice anytime of the day. Choose a time that works best for you. It is recommended to meditate before sunrise, because at that time the energy is most neutral for meditation and yoga.

Do I need previous experience with (Kundalini) Yoga to join this Sadhana?

Previous yoga-experience is not required for this meditation. Your motivation and commitment to the practice is enough.

Can I ask questions during the Sadhana?

Yes, you can ask your questions. We have an online (Facebook) community where you can directly connect with us (Marieke & Tim) and other community members.
