What is a Sadhana?
Sadhana means a daily spiritual practice, which can be a meditation, mantra, prayer, (kundalini) yoga practice. The sadhanas we share are all based on Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan.
Is this guided Sadhana going to be a live-stream?
In this Sadhana we work with 1 pre-recorded yoga video on the Practice Page. It is not a live-stream. This will allow you to play the yoga video at a time that suits you best.
Will I receive a different video every day?
No, we will practice the same kriya with 1 pre-recorded yoga video on the Practice Page. This will allow you to play the yoga video at a time that suits you best.
Do I need to prepare myself for the spring detox diet?
You are going to receive your first preparation email right away to get ready and prepared. For four days you will Pre-tox yourself (no worries, we will explain you what that is!) and do all the necessary shopping and preparation with our step by step guidance to successfully do your Spring Detox. The actual detox is for 11 days; the last days will help you to integrate.
What are the costs for this Sadhana?
The investment for this Detox Sadana is 47 euro (54 usd) and a membership [€ 33,33 per year] is required.

Do I need to do this Sadhana at 5 a.m. in the morning?
You don’t have to get up at 5 a.m. in the morning. You can do your practice anytime of the day. Choose a time that works best for you. It is recommended to meditate before sunrise, because at that time the energy is most neutral for meditation and yoga.
At what time will I receive the daily guidance email?
We send out the emails daily in the (early) morning; this will allow you to read it before you start your practice.
How much time do I need to carve out for this practice?
For this Kundalini Yoga Kriya ‘for Detoxification’ you will need more than one hour each day (60 minutes); including a relaxation afterwards. Make sure you will make enough time each day to prepare healthy meals.
Do I need previous experience with (Kundalini) Yoga to join this Sadhana?
Previous yoga-experience is not required for this meditation. Your motivation and commitment to the practice is enough.
Can I ask questions during the Sadhana?
Yes, you can ask your questions. We have an online (Facebook) community where you can directly connect with Marieke & Tim and other community members.
Do I need to be a member of the online Kundalini Yoga School?
Yes, a membership [€ 33,33 per year] is required to watch the kundalini yoga videos in our Online Kundalini Yoga School.

After practicing Hatha Yoga for 10 years I switched to Kundalini in 2011 and I am teaching on a daily basis ever since. My classes always are a deepening experience beyond the comfort zone, to discover new dimensions of ‘being’. Self observation is playing a key role throughout the practice towards self discovery. Teaching Kundalini Yoga is the love of my life and I am passionate about sharing this sacred technology to inspire people on their spiritual journey. Out of this passion Tim and I founded the online Kundalini Yoga School in 2016.

As a Yoga-psychologist I integrate the teachings of Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan with Psychology. An early fascination for the mind made me choose to study Psychology at the University of Amsterdam. Now, my entrepreneural spirit loves sharing the yogic-teachings via the Online Kundalini Yoga School. Besides Kundalini Yoga classes and private consultations with individuals, I also lead journeys & retreats at inspiring locations worldwide. I loved the detox and the delicious food, I really spent a lot of time to buy and prepare the delicious pure food….I really enjoyed it!! Just finished the last sadhana of this 22 days 😄 😍 It was at moments very challenging but I kept going and am so proud! Happy and proud having been part of this. I learned surrender and acceptance, give up struggle and rest. Kept with kriya, diet for 15 days but then got sick, a real flu with some nasty ending on antibiotics but got quickly over the feeling of failure. It showed me that sometimes instead of feeling angry, guilty and helpless I need to accept, to surrender and change the path. Also that sometimes I need to be more gentle and thoughtful of myself and indulgent if that’s what serves me. Integrating a kundalini yoga practice to my life has been a wish for long and being part of Marieke s and Tim activities are a great support. For me the last 22 days have been a great journey! I have managed to stick to the detox food. I didn’t do the detox kriya but I did do a set of yoga kriya and a meditation every day. Me and my family have loved most of the new food (apart from my 8 yr old son)… teenager easier to please!! I have decided to stay vegan from now on, and I thank you all for the support and cool new stuff to eat! I have lost some weight and my husband says I look younger.
