DE-STRESS YOURSELF

22 day Sadhana from 23 November - 14 December

When you are stress-free, you become God

Nowadays we find it much and much harder to properly recover from stress due to imbalances in the glandular system between the stress hormones (gas pedal) and growth hormones (the break needed for regeneration), we are constantly ‘on’. Our brains are overstimulated by a continuous stream of information and this enduring stress + the glandular imbalance is what is causing a lot of people to suffer from burnout, anxiety, depression, vitality and energy. The 9 minutes practice in this Sadhana creates glandular control and changes the body chemistry to get out of the overdrive of our lives, help your body and mind to relax and restore your energy.

Teacher

After practicing Hatha Yoga for 10 years I switched to Kundalini in 2011 and I am teaching on a daily basis ever since. My classes always are a deepening experience beyond the comfort zone, to discover new dimensions of ‘being’. Self observation is playing a key role throughout the practice towards self discovery. Teaching Kundalini Yoga is the love of my life and I am passionate about sharing this sacred technology to inspire people on their spiritual journey. Out of this passion Tim and I founded the online Kundalini Yoga School in 2016.

Teacher

As a Yoga-psychologist I integrate the teachings of Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan with Psychology. An early fascination for the mind made me choose to study Psychology at the University of Amsterdam. Now, my entrepreneural spirit loves sharing the yogic-teachings via the Online Kundalini Yoga School. Besides Kundalini Yoga classes and private consultations with individuals, I also lead journeys & retreats at inspiring locations worldwide. I am grateful guiding students to establish themselves in their hearts, towards a life filled with compassion and kindness.

What people say

I really loved this sadhana so much. I feel so calm, clean and energetic. First time in my life that I really experienced how it is to observe the mind!! And not identifying with it!! My mind wanted to quit halfway the meditation but I felt that my soul enjoyed the meditation so much and then it is so easy to keep up all of a sudden. Really clarifying and ecstatic experience. Thank you Tim & Marieke for the beautiful guidance — Vita

Absolutely loved the commitment to showing up each day. I feel lighter, brighter and focused. Thank you for all you do. — Jacky

I feel more calm. Like I can see the things more clear and I can feel more peace in the situation just as it is. Feel more confidence in the things that I do. Thanks Marieke and Tim for this Sadhana and all the supportive mails. It was really helpfull. — Manuela

I loved showing up each day! I’m surprised myself how I’ve finally integrated doing daily meditations in my life, but most of all I’m surprised how much I love it. With this meditation, the effect on me (calming me down and clearing my mind) is doing so good to me, that it’s not so difficult to commit to. In the evening I do a 120 days meditation for transformation, which is not difficult to commit to, but which I don’t really like as much as this purify your mind meditation. I gained again clarity on what being responsible means, and how it relates to self-esteem. How self-esteem relates to peace within, and how peace within relates to expectations of self, others, and the world. Thanks a million. — Willie

A lot came up by doing this meditation, things I didn’t realize that were bothering me, which made me restless and feeling uneasy in the past 11 days. Good it all came to the surface and to work it out and to let it go. Thanks for the guidance. — Pamela

It’s really hard for me to take some time just for me these days. But this time I made it, and loved it! Even though it was really though to calm down my mind and leave my thoughts behind… Just wanna say I love this Online Kundalini Yoga School and the professional way it’s being conducted. Wahe Guru! — Kristin

Did the 11th day today, bit will continue the meditation! I feel more focussed (I am a dreamer), relaxed and am having more confidence in myself. Time to act and not sit back and wait. Getting up every morning at 06.00 to have some “me” time is actually quite easy and really nice!! Marieke and Tim thank you so much for your support, emails and blogs. You are doing a great job!! I love Kundalini Yoga School! — Majela

Marieke and Tim – thank you so much for your important, helpful and inspiring work. To be honest – I was surprised that my commitment for the last sadhana turned out to be so easy, because I already have another commitment for a half hour meditation for 90 days …and so I did not really felt the commitment to this sadhana to purify the mind when we started…I was more like :” yeah – this could be nice to do once in a while…when I have enough time…but it is also ok when I don’t do it every day, because I already have another commitment…bla bla bla…” but then the meditation really got me! I do the meditation to the sunset after work and it helps me so fast to calm down and clear my mind from all the different excitements of the day – I love it. — Sa
